Rahul's Class X Results
Dear Friends ,
I am so happy today. Rahul's (one out of four underprivileged kids whom we are supporting) CBSE Class X board exam results have been announced today. He has done so well.
Except maths (which surprisingly he got unexpected low marks), in all other four subjects he got between 92 to 95% marks. Surprisingly in their school the whole batch got very low marks in maths. I don't know the reason.
Please go through his marks in the attached marksheet. He has really done well.
You will also get surprised to know his strength of character. Their jhuggies were broken and demolished two times before by police and HUDA authorities as they build their jhuggies on un-authorized lands. They don't have full time electricity with power cut off every now and then.
During his CBSE exams, his house again got demolished. I had offered him to stay in my house till his exams are over. He thanked me but politely refused. He didn't want to leave his family living in open and stay comfortably in my house. He completed all his exams staying in an open field. He was going 85kms 2.5 hours both ways to give exams to his exam centre.
With all these negative situations what a fantastic result he has produced.
This is not a joke.
I am sooo happy and proud.
I am sure some of you will also be equally happy, proud and satisfied as you are one of those who supported him during his formative years and still doing so. I am proudly sharing his results with all of you.
In addition to Rahul, there are three girls presently studying in class X. All of them are doing well in their studies.
Please realise that they all stay in jhuggies and have high dreams.
We had been looking after their studies since they were very small and studying on the footpath next to our condominium.
It is not possible to take their responsibilities by only me and few of my friends. We need more hands for support. We have to manage till they graduate and get jobs.
Will more of my friends like to join me in this noble journey of educating these four kids and establish them in their lives? They will lift their families from poverty and deprivation and as promised to me will help similar underprivileged children when they are successful, thus creating a chain cycle of developments.
If so, kindly be a part of their lives journey by contributing a very small amount regularly per month to the following account. Even a sum of Rs. 500/- per month regularly is most welcome.
