Visit of Summer Interns to Koshish Aur Pukkar

Three Summer Interns Arshya Anand, Vasu Agarwal & Somesh Tewatia from UPES Dehradun have come to visit Koshish Aur Pukkar office and the ground level work that Koshish Aur Pukkar is doing for underprivileged children at Gurgaon for a successful NGO Internship. They will be with us for June & July, 2025.

I met them in Koshish Aur Pukkar Office on 2nd June, 2025. Mr. K.K.Singh and I met them and we gave a brief introduction of Koshish Aur Pukkar activities.

Later on 9th June, 2025 the interns along with Ms. Kajal Rawat, KKSA Legal Associate visited my residence when I showed the activities of Koshish Aur Pukkar on my laptop explaining how the Gurgaon Chapter of Koshish Aur Pukkar came up several years back and how we brought up four underprivileged children from their early childhood to their present status at the end of their school life. 

We then visited Jyestha Primary School operating on the footpath opposite Jal Vayu Towers where these four children used to study about 8 to 10 years back. We met Ms,Lakshmi, the teacher who is with Jyestha Primary School for the last 12 years and the small kids who lives in jhuggies nearby. The interns had an interaction with all the kids and were very happy.   





On 12th June, 2025 two of the interns i.e. Arshya and Vasu went with me to the Banjara Market where the underprivileged children live. They had a good interaction with Rahul, Vijeta, Sangeeta and Nirjala. They could see first hand in what condition these children live and how much struggle they are undergoing to get educated and be successful in life.  Arshya asked each of them about their career goals and the children mentioned what they want to be in life. Then, Arshya asked them what would they do apart from helping their own families. To this, all the children said that they would like to open a NGO for taking care of underprivileged children. 

I took the opportunity to present 'OSWAL' books for CBSE class XII on 'Accountancy', 'Economics', 'Psychology' and 'Political Science', on behalf of Koshish Aur Pukkar. These books will help them for their forthcoming CBSE Class XII final examination. The children were very happy.

Teacher's Day Celebration

 Today is ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’. On this day I would like to show my deep respect to all my teachers and seniors without whose help I could not have achieved whatever I could in this life.  Of course, my first teachers were my Parents from whom I learnt a lot of things and values of life. I would like to thank my teachers in St. Lawrence High School in Kolkata, Jadavpur University where I did my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and in I.I.T. Kharagpur where I did my M.Tech.
