Inspiring other children at Govt. Model Sanskriti Primary School

 Dear friends, 

I found during teaching the underprivileged children at Govt. Model Sanskriti Primary School at Suncity Township Gurgaon that they don't pay attention to their studies. Just to motivate them, I took three of my four students (whom we taught from a tender age and now in class IX & X in Tagore Public School Gurgaon) to our school and speak to the present students of class III, IV & V. This was to inspire the junior students with their own life examples as to how they struggled hard and come up. Also present was Reeta Nishad (in yellow dress) who is the caretaker nurse for my wife Mrs Suchismita Roy (Ex-Founder Principal of DAV Kapil Dev Public School at Ranchi) and unfortunately an Alzheimer's patient now. Reeta also comes from a very poor family in U.P. and struggled hard to study against all odds and complete her graduation and then her nursing course. She is earning a handsome salary now and employed in EMOHA Elder Care (my son Saumyajit Roy is the Co-Founder & CEO of EMOHA). These are the examples I wanted to put up in front of the students.

A Godsend benefactor for Rahul!

I had just sent in an update to all the supporters of Koshish Aur Pukkar (Cradle of Care) and got a call from Mr. Karthik Kuppusamy. Teacher's Day Celebration

 Today is ‘Happy Teacher’s Day’. On this day I would like to show my deep respect to all my teachers and seniors without whose help I could not have achieved whatever I could in this life.  Of course, my first teachers were my Parents from whom I learnt a lot of things and values of life. I would like to thank my teachers in St. Lawrence High School in Kolkata, Jadavpur University where I did my Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and in I.I.T. Kharagpur where I did my M.Tech. In Production Science & Technology.  Finally, I would like to show my respect to all my seniors in my professional life in TELCO, Usha Martin, G.T.B. Visit of Summer Interns to Koshish Aur Pukkar

Three Summer Interns Arshya Anand, Vasu Agarwal & Somesh Tewatia from UPES Dehradun have come to visit Koshish Aur Pukkar office and the ground level work that Koshish Aur Pukkar is doing for underprivileged children at Gurgaon for a successful NGO Internship. They will be with us for June & July, 2025. I met them in Koshish Aur Pukkar Office on 2nd June, 2025. Mr. K.K.Singh and I met them and we gave a brief introduction of Koshish Aur Pukkar activities. Later on 9th June, 2025 the interns along with Ms. Kajal Rawat, KKSA Legal Associate visited my residence when I showed the activities of Koshish Aur Pukkar on my laptop explaining how the Gurgaon Chapter of Koshish Aur Pukkar came up several years back and how we brought up four underprivileged children from their early childhood to their present status at the end of their school life.  We then visited Jyestha Primary School operating on the footpath opposite Jal Vayu Towers where these four children used to study about 8...
